2010 Roster up on gopsusports.com
An updated roster has been quietly posted on the Official Athletic Site. Here's the link. Some items to note:
- Tom McEowen and Brent Carter are not listed. You can lump McEowen in with the other highly rated washouts from the 2006 recruiting class. As previously speculated, this frees up a couple of the schollies needed for the recent recruits.
- Chima Okoli now listed as OL and corresponding number change to 66, however you have to click on the PDF link to see the position change. I hope this works out for him since he couldn't crack the DT rotation.
- Hodges is listed at LB.
-Uni numbers have been issued for the early enrollees except TE Kevin Haplea.
Linebacker-U has more, including the observation that erstwhile punter Ryan Breen is still on the roster.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chaz move back to defense this year.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
Probably
Kind of a glut at WR and he didn’t produce a ton last year. Unfortunately there was a reason they moved him from Defense to Offense in the first place. Hopefully he can provide good depth at safety.
"I'm colonel cool! And I'm the captain on this rocket to the stars!"
I'd like to see that too
just for the fact that he is taking snaps at WR that would be better served with other players, but I don’t think it will happen. I think he starts the season in the top 4 at WR and slowly loses PT until he is rarely seen (like Brackett did last year).
Carter/McEowen are there
Both players are still listed on the official roster. I’m happy to see McEowen back. he’s had a rough career at PSU (injuries). Good for him to keep on truckin’
A Garden State Nittany Lion...
Carter/McEowen
I think it would be bigger news if these two guys weren’t on the team any more, especially Carter. With Brandon Beachum out for a while, Carter will be the best 3rd string TB in the Big Ten.

My favorite part: As if having a last name starting with Z is not only awesome, but rare
We’ve got three currently on that roster, plus one in the Fall:
Pat Zerbe (Fr, FB)
Mike Zordich (So, LB)
Graham Zug (Sr, WR)
Zach Zwinak (Fr, FB)
I did ...
just to see who my jersey would be now….I’m going with Fortt over McGloin I think
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face
And to keep the double entendres going
How awesome is it that we have a WR named Tariq Tongue that could see the field with Kuntz. This almost makes up for the loss of Coxson. Although having a Coxson-Tougue-Kuntz WR lineup would have been pretty freaking sweet if you have a fourth grade sense of humor like myself.
