Around SBN: Missouri Survives Scare, Louisville And Marquette Roll

But it also would have been hard to predict that schools like Penn State, last season's NIT winner, would have lost 20 games this year. The Hokies beat Penn State on Dec. 12.

Ed DeChellis, the Nittany Lions' coach, sent Greenberg a text message earlier this year to apologize for "ruining your RPI."

Right back to square one.

No one will schedule us until we make another run.

Yeah, that was one of those big things coming off of last year that people were talking about. “We’re not terrible anymore, so teams will now want to schedule us now that we’re not RPI suicide”

So much for that plan. We’ll be playing community colleges and YMCA leagues for a while.

Eh

I don’t think so. We’re still an attractive opponent from an RPI standpoint. Just the fact that we play in the Big Ten gives us an RPI in the 100’s.

Except we’re a team with an RPI in the 100’s that might win. Most good schools are better off playing a non-BCS conference team with a similar RPI since they are typically more “beatable”.

I know about your diabolical plan.

How are you doing that?

I.e. when you go this “text2pic”, what template or link do you click on?

If I wasn't almost positive that I see a ring of very short hair in this picture,

I’d swear I was looking at Jean Luc Picard.

"Every player we have, someone-maybe a parent, a grandparent, someone-poured their soul into that young man. They are handing that young man off to us. They are giving us their treasure, and it's our job to make sure we give them back that young man intact and ready to face the world."

NM, just googled it and Picard had a slight ring of hair.

What does he have to do with PSU hoops?

It’s the head coach of VaTech, I think. I did some GIS for the guy for something funny. This was also in the bunch:
