This made me happy...watching them lose yesterday.

I was feeling apathetic towards both teams...
But had to root for Xavier after the refs declined to call a foul when a Pitt player dragged a Xavier player down and appeared to hold him down until the fastbreak was started. I’m sure of the first part, and 40-50% sure of the second part.

I tried to once to root for sPitt BB and it sucked.
Especially when they insist on screaming “Penn State Sucks” during their every fight song….when’s the last time we played those losers in anything? The best was 2 years ago at their back yard brawl with WVU when they did the same while playing their fight song pre-game. I’d rather root for ND (gulp-wretch).
So the only thing Penn State basketball has going for it is...
that Pitt can’t make it to a Final Four?
Now there’s a program to be proud of in Happy Valley.
Let’s not kid ourselves, we’d take Pitt’s basketball program in a heartbeak over the absolute, complete, and utter failure that is PSU DeBasketball.

I'm proud of out 1954 Final Four
Even though at that point in time, it was basically the NIT Final Four today.
