Those places from the 40’s and 50’s have tremendous character, but I’d be freaked out living in the dungeons they call basements.

I am really not sure if I should

say it ir not, but Joe and Sue’s basement is retrofitted as the Corner Bar in the 60s, complete with cardboard cut-outs of the old sportswriters that joe would have a drink with Friday nites before the game….you just don’t have that control anymore…today Joe still goes downstairs and has a drink with new cutouts of current writers and shoots them with paint balls, follwed by “leave the gun, take the cannolies.” Sue dutifully cleans up and they repeat the procedure each week. If there are 2 weeks off before a game, Joe goes up to Umberto’s Clam House in Little Italy of NYC and acts out there. Sue does not attend, and as anyone knows, if you give her 2 weeks to prepare for a cleanup, she’s undefeated.
