Talor Battle: 2-time Big Ten scoring champ?
The current Big Ten scoring stats have Evan Turner leading at 19.5 PPG, while Talor Battle sits in 2nd place at 19.0 PPG. Based on my calculations, Battle would need 55 points in the final two games vs Michigan State and Purdue to overtake Turner for the lead. (Ohio State's regular season is over.) I would say normally he has a great shot, especially the way he seems to play against MSU, but the way the team is spreading around the scoring recently may hurt his chances, but obviously help PSU's chances to win. I'm going to be a homer and predict that he is going to do it. Any thoughts?

I don't think so.
MSU and Purdue’s strengths are guard play. Especially Purdue.
But I will say that it wouldn’t surprise me. The MSU fans are all saying “You never know what may happen when Talor Battle is in East Lansing”.

Purdue definitely has something to play for too
A share of the B10 title with a win. I’ve been surprised to hear some people on the B10 Network predict that game as an upset.
He would probably need to get around 30 tonight to have a chance on Saturday.

Who knows
Battle lights up MSU for some reason. I could see him scoring 30 points there.

Well
I’d say Battle winning the scoring title and us winning at least one of these last two are mutually exclusive. Battle can’t beat either of these teams on his own.

Yes.
Here are things Battle requires of his teammates:
-Win tipoff.
-Block out.
-Pass the ball to him.
-No moving screens.

I've got an idea
MSU on the road is probably tougher than Purdue at home without Hummel, so let’s screw this game and let Battle take every shot, he’ll get 40-50, we’ll lose by a crap ton, but we would have lost anyway. Then we’ll win the Purdue game and Battle can get about 10-15 and he’ll get the title.
I support this.

How about
We play our best game of the season tonight, then pick off a helpless Kramer led Purdue team Saturday?

Dear Fugi.
Chris Kramer is a good player and an even better leader.

And
He’ll guard Battle, has won the defensive player of the year, and has a habbit of beating the living s*** out of Battle and frustrating him.
There's also this Moore guy and this Jackson guy and that Johnson guy...
Nonetheless, I predict a win because it’s balls to the walls time, baby.
