The Nittany Lions will play Purdue in the season finale today at the Bryce Jordan Center. If you're a student and you're still in State College, stop on by, admission is free for students today.
The Boilermakers will be without the services on Robbie Hummel, who had 23 points in Pudue's 66-46 win over Penn State Jan. 31 in West Lafayette.
Freshman Bill Edwards posted a double-double in that game with 10 points and 13 rebounds, so we'll see if he can step up again today.

A win
Would make things much easier in the B10 Tournament. 3 games against jNW, Purdue/MSU, then probably Purdue/MSU (winner of Indiana/Minnesota, and the 3 seed) sound very winnable. Then one game for the NCAA Tournament.

Looks like we are locked into #11 seed now
With an Indiana win, we will be a game behind both Iowa and IU and we lost to them, so even a win wouldn’t help our seeding. But we can still get a Purdue matchup in the 2nd round if they fall to the #3 seed, which would likely happen if we beat them. Looks like we’ll have the Gophers in the first round.
I would have like to see NW though
They are really mailing it in the last few weeks.

Yeah, with jNW’s OT fail, our game with Purdue is fairly meaningless. We will play 6 seed Minnesota, but no change to the next 2 games.

If they would make seats cheaper and only allow the basketball crowd on the lower capacity
it would go a long way. People will get the second and third tier seats to save money because who wants to spend a lot of money on Penn State basketball… it’s the only sport on campus besides football that even students can’t get to for free.
I think it's 5 per game or 60 for the season... that's what it was my freshman year
but I joined the pep band and I got in for free

With Hummel, you have an impossible choice of hedging on screens and leaving him open on the perimeter or leaving Johnson able to get loose in the paint. Without him … collapse on Johnson and you can stop them.

Looks like it was a close game, seems the team really has changed a lot sine the start of the year. Will be curious to see how they are next year with a tiny bit more experience and Battles brother possibly getting some playing time.
