For those of you not following JayPa's Twitter...apparently Michael Robinson and his THREE kids (holy cow, already?) are staying with Jay this week while they're in town. There's a nice article in the CDT today about it. Good to see he's still Penn State proud. His wife is like most of my friends who don't quite get it...

Not many people know this...
but Jay’s entire house is a basement. A full 4000sf of man cave. I’d say we could add about 10-11 more former players to the pile before it starts to get a little uncomfartable.

MRob is apparently doing a charity signing tonight (Friday) 6-8pm
At CharitySignings (I had no idea such a place existed) on College and McAllister. I’ve heard it’s like 15 bucks for an autograph, which is worth it for MRob and Charity, but not exactly for the poor college student (plus this poor college student has already met MRob and gotten his autograph).
Also, (I feel like I’m a promoter for these things now) Jordan Norwood will be at SBS on College tomorrow for a signing session.

saturday around 6AM….no charge, no tweets, no errors.

I went tonight, it was $15 bucks a signature, plus $5 for an 8x10 glossy
despite being a poor college student, I shelled out the 20 bucks for charity to get an autograph and a pic with MRob.
And I got two bonuses: out of no where Jordan Norwood runs up to say hi to MRob, and Levi Brown was along with MRob, and I got my pic with him to (for free).
Totally worth it, and for a good cause.
By the way, DWill will be at the same place tomorrow
And AQ Shipley will be signing autographs at the Family Clothesline on College Ave, along with Jordan Norwood at SBS.

It would be cheaper (and maybe more valuable?)
to get all the autographs at a B/W game when they were like freshmen. Then, wait till they get drafted! (Course, you’ll have a lot of worthless autographs to go with the several who make a big impact!)

I may be a poor college student
but it was for charity, I probably wouldn’t have paid for an autograph, especially when I already have MRob’s sig. Honestly I paid so that I could get my picture with him, because I didn’t do that the last time I met him and regretted it. Plus I got a bonus and Levi Brown was there, so I got a pic with him too (he is massive btw, I’m 6’1" 230, and he made me look like a middle school kid in the picture, its hilarious)

Had no clue he was going to be there (didn’t read this post) but lucky enough I was wearing my #2 Jersey.
Shelled out the $10 to get the autograph and briefly mentioned that like so many other clowns, he autographed my other jersey during the first Paternoville. He said that it was the best game of his life and he’ll never forget it.
Ok funny story
I’m not gonna make this a new thread, so I’ll just post here.
I happen to have a very attractive, intelligent, etc etc best friend who is somehow still single. She didn’t feel like settling down in her 20’s and now that she’s ready to date seriously she keeps meeting one loser after another. The same month we moved to TX a classmate of mine from PSU gets a job transfer back to Philly and buys a condo downtown. He’s brilliant, pretty cool and his job requires him to travel so much that he’s still single too. So I see if he’s up for an introduction via email, and he says yes. (He reads here occasionally too but I don’t think he posts.)
Anyway she leaves me this cryptic phone message about a question she doesn’t know how to put down in email. I call and she says she looked up his Facebook profile and his profile pic is actually of three people. So she’s not sure which one is him. I laugh, immediately knowing why she’s not sure how to ask…the photo is him, Michael Robinson in the center, and his dad. She didn’t want to come out and ask if he was black or white. LOL
