In one of Cael Sanderson's recent blog posts, he discusses two former ISU wrestlers who are continuing their training in State College. Cael mentions building up the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club with world class wrestlers.
To all those that know much more about collegiate wrestling than me, is it common to have something like the NLWC operating in conjunction with an NCAA program. I guess it is based on Cael's comment - "Building a strong freestyle club is a priority for us and is a key to building a NCAA championship program".
What is the relationship with the NCAA program? If the NWLC trains with the PSU program, it will be like having a bunch of Caels around to whip our boys into shape.
