Rivals has their B10 preview up
Exactly what you would expect, complete with way too much Wisconsin love. I think someone who knows nothing about football could produce this page with a few media guides and google searches. However, I like looking at these because it means football season is almost here.

I don't get how we're 7th best offensive backfield..
Is the QB situation holding us back? I would think Royster alone should make us top 3 or 4.
Otherwise, skimming over it, not a bad read. Not sure if NewNew will have a breakout season assuming he’s the starter. Gonna be tough-sledding with those road games.
That was pretty much my
assessment as well. Surprised Sukay got 2nd team FS. Maybe I shouldn’t be.

I think Sukay is pretty good...
watched the Cap One Bowl the other day and he put himself in position to make some plays there.
I think he’s got more upside than Astorino, but lacking in the Italian department. Nobody’s perfect.

Minnesota has the hardest schedule?
Seriously? Maybe because they suck balls, but I’d trade for that schedule over ours (for ease of schedule. I’m actually more interested in our schedule)

Given that is is not 2005
I would much rather have SC at home than ’Bama on the road. Their conference schedule is tougher given that they have to play Penn State and preseason poll darling Wisconsin, while we do not. So, at any rate, I see the argument.
On a side note, how did they score a home night game against OSU on ABC? Is that one of those games where they are going to push Minnesota by saying, “wow, look at this stadium”?
Suprising to see that Sukay is the B10 second team safety
Also I guarantee that we will have at least 3 players on the postseason All B10 Defensive 1st team
WIth Ogbu, Lynn, Sukay and possibly Mauti, Stupar or Crawford
It will be tough for Crawford to break through with all the talent the conference has at DE, he would have to bet out people like Heyward, Watt, Clayborn, Kerrigan, etc. He would need 10+ sacks
On the offensive side, I have a tough time seeing more than one 1st teamer: Wiz
I'm going with Hill
Can’t wait to see the push he gets on those 275lb Iowa interior lineman.
Ohio State has the worst fans in the Big Ten. Bar none. And it’s not even close. Humorless in defeat. Condescending in victory. Generally insecure all the time. I’ve partied and had fun with fans of every team in this league, save Ohio State.
Is that weight before or after their time with one of the best S&C coaches in the business?
Just wondering.

Those weights
Are for Juniors and Seniors, except for the Head Coach’s son, who’s a sophomore, all according to the Right Honorable Hawkeye State. So one can reasonably presume it is after at least 3 years with said strength coach.
Our guys, on the other hand, have spent some years with one of the best Dline coaches in the business.

And just remember
It won’t be so easy to get that great push when Penn State’s offense hasn’t done anything all night and the defense is right back to that long grind for the third straight year…
Dang, this is fun. I can’t even tell if I’m serious.

He had 5.5 as a pretty new Sophomore
4.5 more this year is aggressive forecasting, yes, but not entirely preposterous. Defense is gonna be so weird this year, with Linebacker being our least experienced third. And yet still 6 deep with talent.

I think the following guys will make the All Big Ten 1st team
Wiz, Still, Gbadyu SURPRISE UPSET PICK, Mauti, Royster, Wagner.

On the other hand, SI appears to have
lots of Royster love. Got this at Best Buy today. Anyone know if this is a regional cover (bought it in SE Virginia). Is #22 on the cover for all Big Ten fans to enjoy?
