Would it surprise anyone if McGloin runs out as the starter on Sept 4th? There has been some rumblings that the coaches have him pegged as the starter, which means absolutely nothing. Even if that were true, it's a motivational tool for Newsome. They haven't even started practice yet. But, I found it interesting enough to want to discuss it. What if McGloin starts against Youngstown? What if he goes 18/25 for 300 yards and 3 TD's? What if Newsome goes in during the 3rd quarter and struggles going 6/15 and one long running TD? If that happens, who do you want going down to Alabama to start? What if we run the Alamo Bowl offense with 2 QB's at Alabama?
