Scully Replaces Castro, Bowden on JoePa Rivals List

GREAT NEWS!  JoePa will almost certainly be back in 2012!

I had always been under the impression that JoePa was competing with Queen Elizabeth and Fidel Castro, rather than Bobby Bowden.

Her Majesty has been on the job since 1948, and Fidel started the revolution in '53.

Apologies to Vin Scully, who had been working for the Brooklyn Dodgers since 1948! He just announced that he will be back to work in 2011.  This is great news for JoePa fans.  The competition is tough, but Joe's a competitor, and will not stand down in the face of a good head-to-head battle.

Bowden, no longer FSU head coach, was never a player in this competition.

Castro was a tough guy, but  is no longer head of Cuba.

But the Queen, and Vinny press on!

Joe, you got your work cut out for you.  Scully announced that he will be back in 2011.  That means Paterno will have to work until at least through 2012 to beat him.

As for the Queen, didn't her mother live to be 117?

The view from Boalsburg sees Joe looking at 500 wins!

Time to get taped up!   Where's my pipe?
