Sooo Ready for Opening Day

I have pretty realistic expectations for the season - 3 losses probable, but in every game - and I'll go out on a limb and predict a victory at Alabama just it case it happens. Nobody remembers when you were wrong...
Anyway... the reason I'm so excited about this season is because it is the first time in 15 years I'm back within driving distance of State College and I have 4 season tickets so the whole fam damily can go to the game. I never got to go to a live game till I was a freshman but seeing the excitement on my 3 & 2 year olds faces and we read Hello Nittany Lion and listen to Blue Band & Glee Club music.... its intoxicating to think I'm brainwashing a new generation of Nittany Lions.

My daughter’s name is Emmy, she also happens to be a Penn State fan.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils
my neice does this too.
she’s started kindergarten this week. Only i say we are… and she says " Penn State!"
Yeah she hasn't figured the back & forth aspect out yet...

Nothing Better
than starting them young, my oldest daughter(i have 2, 3 yrs and 4 wks) has been able to do a version of the Nittany Lion growl since before her 2nd birthday, and hums along with the fight song on my singing PSU bottle opener

first time in years I won’t hear my 6yr old yelling it throughout my house as her mom moved her back to Ohio with her. gonna be a lot of phonecalls on Sat mornings this year so I can hear it
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member
