So I do a little piece on beer every Friday over at SBN's fantastic Michigan blog, Maize N Brew, which is generally little-read i.e. it receives as much readership as it probably deserves (the column, not the blog).  As luck (are we calling it that?) would have it, this week's post is dedicated to the Big Ten's dean of coaches, Joe Paterno.  I meant it to be reflective/reverential although I'm clearly aware that some of it can come off as snarky.  I meant no harm, it's just one hack's perspective on things.  So there you have it, a Hawkeye's post on a Michigan blog comparing a Penn State coach to beer...yes, this is truly a horrible idea. Tear it up if you wish but I just thought some of you would be interested.  If you like it (and lord knows why you would) hopefully you'll tune in every Friday; last week I prayed for Ohio State's demise (I know, I really went out on a limb).  Now I'll go back to BHGP and make fart jokes.
