No 1 PSU falls to No 2 Stanford
For some reason, this hurts more than the boys losing today.
But I'm not too concerned. We'll get the 4th straight Championship at the end.

agreed. I said the same last night.
This is even worse than the football team losing. Now it’s gonna be another 3 years until we catch up to our own record.
But, the team is young. By the time we meet Stanford again, Rose will have them rolling.
"Every player we have, someone-maybe a parent, a grandparent, someone-poured their soul into that young man. They are handing that young man off to us. They are giving us their treasure, and it's our job to make sure we give them back that young man intact and ready to face the world."

Honestly, as much as I hate seeing this...
I think this could be a good thing overall. We had 3 year players on the team that had never lost a match. Sometimes you need that heartbreaking loss to get people to work that much harder, and better it come now, than in the championship game.
"This is being a Penn State fan. We’ll prove it, or we won’t. It’s not about proving it to them, it’s about proving to ourselves."
This.
As much as people love to talk about McElroy’s record, sometimes you just need to learn to bite one. A great leader leads a team through wins and loses.
"We have the plainest uniforms you can make. We know who we are. We are Penn State, and that's something special."
Whatever. Streaks are meant to be broken.
Each year is a new team. This team is still very good and should still get to the finals.
Besides, your National Championship streak is still alive.
