Bolden passed 29 times.
Which you may notice is equal to the number of rushes.
Watching the game, my Dad (40 years of football watching, FWIW, and yes I know he’s just a fan but he’s my Dad so he must be smart) both came to the conclusion that Penn State wanted to get Bolden comfortable and were willing to settle for a decent but unspectacular rushing game.

I just don’t see anything to suggest we’ll have any success running on Alabama. I was basing much of my hope on us getting off to a good start running the ball today. We didn’t. It’s going to be very tough for Robert Bolden to outduel McElroy.

We have seen in past seasons where a particular unit (running/oline last year also) didn’t look good but then pulled it together as the season went on. I am nervous about our line against the 3 excellent teams we play.
