You want a Linebacker, go to Penn State
Check out Turf Show Times, Josh Hull beats out former Buckeye Bobby Carpenter
LB Bobby Carpenter is gone. Disappointment has been the theme of Carpenter's career, but I'm a little shocked that he didn't make the final cut to add depth at the very least. Rookie Josh Hull made the cut after an impressive preseason.
In other news, NaVorro makes the cut in SF, Matt Willhelm, not so much. Link
Unfortunately, Dennis Landolt is also looking for work per NBC sports.

The Eagles...
Cut AQ Shipley and Jordan Norwood.
He might still
on their or another teams’ practice squad.
Yeah, I’m talkin’ ’bout practice.

And Carpenter was once a highly thought of guy

When was that?
I always thought he was junk…

He went in the middle of
the first round of the NFL draft. Of course that was the Cahboyz, but someone, and frankly not me, thought well of him.

I never understood the love for Carpenter.
Just think, he went higher (18th) than Poz, Connor, Lee, and Bowman. I never got what scouts saw in him unless he was a workout warrior. He never showed it on the field against PSU.
Did wheels make the cut in Detroit? He was having a hard time fielding punts/kickoffs in pre-season and looked a bit iffy. Curious if he still has a job.
Still on the team, as far as I can see
He’s not on their list of cuts
"I did my walk of shame this morning and everyone was so much nicer," she said. "People were inviting me to parties at 9 a.m."
Derrick Williams still gainfully employed
Here’s the list of PSU players cut today and earlier this week:
Tim Shaw, Bears
Bobby Ingram, Browns
Rich Ohrnberger, Patriots
Jay Alford, Giants
Dennis Landolt, Giants
Jordan Norwood, Eagles
AQ Shipley, Eagles
Anthony Scirrotto, Eagles
Michael Robinson, 49ers- Thursday
Maurice Evans, Bears – Monday
As I understand it, they’re available to be claimed by other teams for active roster spots prior to practice team assignment.

Not surprised to see maurice Evans on there
He should’ve stayed in school

me too
he actually played a role in the rotation for the g-men. but he was out hurt all of last year. maybe some hangover from that. he’ll get picked up somewhere though (i hope)

The end for Bobby Ingram?
He has managed to have a long pro career as a useful piece.

MRob was cut? This is the first I've heard/read it (still catching up on stories from the past week)

Thats awesome that Hull made the cut.
Went from walk on to being thrust into the spotlight. Fans disliked his play initially then he worked himself into a very very good player. Went to class and graduated with an engineering degree.Got drafted like next to last ( or 3rd to last or something) and made the roster. That kid is a true role model. Works hard, does his job and does it well. Kudos.
Black Shoes. Basic Blues. No Name. All Game.
AQ Back with the Eagles practice squad
and Norwood to Cleveland (it rocks)
Joe Paterno - Not Unlike Hugh Hefner
Didn't Norwood originially sign with Cleveland
After he wasn’t drafted in 2009?
