It's only ONE game.....

but I love the way they handled him saturday—not pressing the panic button when behind and pulling him out, thanks to Wagner’s great day— and I know it’s only One game, but I think they have a good, young one (I called RoBo 2 weeks ago when they red-shirted Jones) who will ring the bell many times in the future.

He could always regress, but yesterday he had a chance to play from behind and be in a position where he had to convert 3rd and long. We saw our running game look sub-par and he made up for it with his arm — it wasn’t the type of game where we ran for 200 yards and just asked him to make a few easy throws; he made some tough throws across the middle of the field.

I came away extremely impressed despite having really high expectations.

I'm glad the coaches stuck with him. I was very impressed.

I’m also very impressed with Wagner’s improvement. He looked solid and it seemed to be pretty windy yesterday.

I also didn't see a scaled down throwing game.

If anything, it looked like the same offense, though I think I only saw Bolden in the shotguy twice all day. Lots of fullback since it appears they don’t have a lot of confidence in the tightend spot.
