Like many of you, I was excited by the hiring of Cael Sanderson and by many subsequent events. We paid the big bucks, we got the big names in recruiting, everything was great.
Or so we thought.
Like many of you, I was excited to watch #1 Penn State face the greatest program in the history of Iowa athletics (A very telling feat, considering the legendary proportions of that great state's athletic programs and players, such as Cael Gable, Kareem Abdul-Jordan, John Wayne Reagan, and Poe Hornungmontana). Here was a real chance for our wrestleball (Or hockey, or whatever it is they do) players to show their stuff. Of course, we all should have known better. We are nothing better than ignorant fools, lapping up our grilled stickies and our Peachy Paternos.
Well, everyone, the truth is this: Penn State still isn't elite, despite the lies spread about by homer organizations like Black Shoe Diaries and InterMat.
And, so, a question: Why did we fire Jerry Sunderdunn (Or whoever) for homer lies and horrible losses?
Until we answer that question, things will remain very un-Peachy.
