Nike Honor's JoePa's 400th
Nike will donate 400K to the Paterno/Pattee Library in honor of Joe's 400th win. Way to go Nike.

I'm very relieved.
When I first read the title of the post I figured it would be with some “pro combat” version of our unis or whatever. Maybe a special model shoe (which would actually be pretty cool, considering the kind he gets are out of production). But they did it the JoePa way with the donation to the library.
How big of a seller do you think a "JoePa" shoe would get in State College?
Those things would fly off the shelves.

I was terrified of the same thing
The first thing that came to mind was a “donation” of new uniforms for PSU leading to our eventual Oregon-ification and my inevitable disgust-induced thrusting of my body in front of a speeding bus.
But thank you Nike, this was a classy gift.
This is by far the coolest thing I've heard all day.

That's great, but..
…UConn wants us to find out what strings are attached? Is Nike going to try to be involved with hiring a new coach that will change our uniforms to something more Nike?
