Great...

No sympathy for the kicker
if the kick was on target, Latimore blocks it. And that was totally not a catch on the drive leading to it.

Completely ridiculous.
Not according to the announcers, who were sure it was a great pass, great catch where the TE got his hands under it. Of course, we should have been called for a helmet to helmet, late hit, shouldn’t have been given an interception etc etc.
I’m not usually one to complain about announcer/ref bias. But this was despicable. There was outright elation when Illinois scored. When we did it was a “surprise from an anemic offense.”
Just keep winning ugly, baby.

OH THOSE GUYS!
Those two tools covered the 09 NW game and they sucked then. One of them looks like he’s 14, IIRC.

IMO
we shouldn’t have been given that interception by Lynn. but our offense/coaches had the foresight to get the play off really quick to prevent a review.

The call was correct.

Oh yeah, the "helmet to helmet"
that 1) Wasn’t at all and 2) Wasn’t intentional, a requirement for the call.

Incredible...
I love all that presnap movement by the student section – totally lost that on TV

Awesome
I was in the student section and ESPN really missed one of those special moments in college football. This is probably one of the most memorable finishes I have been to.
Watching the student section converge behind the goalposts
was one of the coolest things I have ever seen live in my life.
And it worked!

This blog adds so much to the Penn State football experience.
Five years ago you never would have seen this. It’s a really cool addition to what was already a pretty cool game. Good work.
Yeah, I get it. Our plan is to show up with our fantastic defense and let the chips fall where they may.
