Following the hideous showing by most of the BlogPoll teams the past couple weeks, I found myself in the same spot I often do at least once every year and when I find myself in this pinch, I always call my bro, Michael Bay, for assistance. His advice is always, "blow it up, because explosions are awesome!" With that in mind, it's back to the drawing board. Take a look at the BlogPoll below the jump, as always questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are welcome.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
There are teams in the wrong spots up and down every single time I pull a mass overhaul, mostly a result of going cross-eyed staring at the numbers. Do I really feel like Illinois or Kansas State are Top-10 teams? No, but they don't have any ugly losses yet and at least one decent win, albeit at home. The season will ultimately slot them in their more proper place as time progresses. Big drops this week for Nebraska, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, South Florida and Texas A&M. Virginia Tech has nothing else to fall back on in their wins column and South Florida has the loss to the worst opponent of any team ranked in my Top-25. If they could manage to play both the first AND second half of a game, Texas A&M could be a Top-10 teams, but instead find themselves on the outside looking in. Games of note this week are Florida at LSU, Texas and Oklahoma in The Red River Shootout, Nebraska at Ohio State and Auburn at Arkansas.
