Adam Rittenburg Stephfon Green Interview
At the end of the interview Green states "..we[re] doing it for Coach P."
Just another example of the integrity of not only the team but of Joe Pa. For a player to say that after Joe had kept his playing time very low for most of the season, shows he must have learned a lesson and is greatful for being able to play for Joe.

I thought it was ironic
that Stephon has been so instrumental in the past few games. It does give you some idea of JoePa’s “morals/ethics”. He chose to keep a player that he knew would be a major contributor, out of the lineup because of off-the-field transgressions. It also shows that he valued the leadership of this team in that he would let him back.
I am thrilled for Stephon that he has been able to realize some major success at the end of his senior season. I am also thrilled that Green understands how fortunate he is.
Thanks JoePa for allowing Stephon back and thank you, Stephon, for showing all of us that Joe made the right decision.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

I was a Green fan last year.
On the one hand, it’s a shame that he screwed up and cost himself a captaincy this season. On the other hand, Joe’s brand of discipline will likely make him a much better man.
I’ll tell you why. Because we’re talking about Joe Freaking Paterno here.
