As luck would have it....
I'm going to be visiting my in-laws in Northern Illinois this week for Thanksgiving. Every year they go up to Madison for Black Friday and stay through the weekend. I finally realized what this meant about three days ago(I can't believe it took me this long). This has the potential to be the best visit to the in-laws ever. I just purchased my tickets this morning.
Penn State at Wisconsin Football TicketsSat, 11/26/11, 2:30 PM (CST)
Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, WI Section: Lower Deck Sideline R
Row: 6 | Seats: 18, 19
What I want to know, is anyone else going to the game? If so, maybe a little BSD meet and greet? Also even if you are not going, but have been there before any info you could provide on parking or anything else relevant would be appreciated.
Thanks

I’ve never been to Madison. It’ll be an experience.

I'll do a fanpost on Madison
early this week. You should have a great time visiting. A sneak peek:
On Friday night, join the Madison PSAA Chapter for an alumni mixer at the Hilton Monona Terrace (6-8pm). From there you can hit a number of fine establishments downtown, on State Street or around campus. (Wisconsin has a great craft brew industry, and many bars have a solid selection on tap or in bottles. For example, the Wisconsin Beer Project at The Old Fashioned .
The PSAA tent and pep rally is in Lot 60. A lot of Penn Staters tend to park out there. Cheap and plenty of parking and tailgating space. Shuttle buses run to and from Camp Randall for $5, but you can certainly walk (about 1.5 miles). As long as the weather is decent (i.e., not raining or snowing), a lot of PSU alums from Madison and Milwaukee are planning to tailgate out there.
A lot of folks hit the biergartens hosted by bars in the vicinity of Camp Randall – Lucky’s, Stadium Bar, Big Ten Pub – in lieu of tailgating, partially due to lack of tailgate parking around the stadium.

Wishing you the best of luck. Hope you get to remember this trip for the rest of your life for the right reasons…..watching the PSU D-Line Kill the Fat Asses of Wisconsin.
