This week allows us all to lick our wounds, take off the tape, and heal up for the big push to end the season. Mel suggests chicken stock and home-made egg noodles. It's good for the soul. Not a bad idea.
This Tailgate Thursday is a bit off the beaten path regarding tailgate food, since we will not be tailgating this weekend. But, Mel can't let the week go by without providing some comfort and healing that can only come from home-made chicken stock. Also, the art of making home-made egg noodles is therapeutic, and should help us all get through the weekend and ready for the next part of the two-quartetrback-system season
Of course, you all have 24-quart stock pots. If you do not, you have not been around enough PSU winning ugly seasons.
To paraphrase the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers
"Chicken Soup will get you through times of no football, better than football will get you through times of no chicken stock!"
Finally, she presents a lost work of art, the home-made EGG NOODLE!
Kneading this out for a few batches will help release the anxiety of worrying about Bolden throwing into the Nebraska secondary.
