The 2977 total yards LSU has matriculated leaves them as #84 in the country in total offense. Just pointing this out to the Jackwagons who complain about PSU's offense, which is ranked in the same neighborhood as the Bayou Bengals.
Penn State' offense is nothing to write home about. It turns out that it simply does not matter. To coin a phrase, Defense wins Championships. It was true in 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, and will still be true next week.
#1 Defense in the Country? #2 Alabama
#4 Defense in the Country? #1 LSU
So the fact that PSU is a top ten total defensive team should give the Lion Faithful a boost of confidence going into next week's game with #29 in total defense Nebraska and # 17 in total defense, Ohio State.
I'm ciphering out that both of these games will be pushes in Vegas.
