BlogPoll 2011: Week 11 Ballot
There is no joy in Mudville, there will no YouTubes or attempts at humor. No pontifications on whether the "Game of the Century of the Week" lived up to it's billing, just the Blogpoll. The biggest movers up were Clemson and Michigan State simply because of all the losses around them, Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas State and Michigan all fall this week and South Carolina somehow remained in place despite losing to Arkansas through a strange mix of upsets and bye weeks, but are left in a precarious position with this week's slate. I have the biggest problems with the ranking between 9 and 18, it's a complete mess. Again, I'm expecting to see some clarity following the games this weekend. Take a look at the BlogPoll ballot below the jump. As always, questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are welcome.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
Arizona State plummets out of the poll as you simply cannot lose to UCLA. The Sun Devils were joined by West Virginia and Washington through the exit. Ohio State, Auburn and Cincinnati slide in to complete the 25 spots. The Buckeyes control their own destiny in the Big Ten and I didn't know who else to fill out the last two spots with, so congratulations Tigers and Bearcats I just stopped caring at that point. Games of note this week are: Oregon at Stanford, TCU at Boise State, Oklahoma at Baylor, Nebraska at Penn State, Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech, Georgia at Auburn and West Virginia at Cincinnati.

Somebody Tell A joke!
Nebraska is favored by 2 to 2.5 points in Vegas.
I say, take the points.
The kids are alright!

Unfortunately for Nebraska they ain't playing in Vegas.
That’s the best I’ve got joke wise at the moment.

Needs moar Dukes
Sean Lee is the only tolerable thing about the Cowboys
I'm inclined to agree with you
But I’m not sure there are ten teams that I consider to be “top ten teams,” so somebody’s gotta be there right?
Fair enough
Although even their best win was vs the Lattimoreless Cocks’

Pretty much my feelings as well
there have to be ten, so why not Arkansas? I can think (and do) that if they were in the B1G Legends, they’d be indistinguishable from the Nebraksa, MSU, Iowa, Michigan mess, but at this point, why not Arkansas?
GO IOWA AWESOME, now and forever, unless PSU sees them in the B1G CG
Beat Nebraska.
Ohio State does not control their own B1G destiny
Only Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan State do

Is it just me
or does Penn State have a better record and better record against common opponents than Nebraska?

We do
Then again, we also did vs USC and that did not work out

Matchups
I’ll always believe that PSU, USC, and Florida were the best teams in the country in 08, and if they played each other 10 times each, PSU > Florida > USC > PSU.
USC’s strength (throwing the rock) matched up with PSU’s weakness. In contrast, PSU could stop the run, and that’s all that Florida team really did extremely well. Florida had a great secondary. It was an issue of matchups, not overall strength.

It's a Push.
This is a complete ‘match up’ game. It could go either way.
Let’s hope that Northwestern shattered Nebraska’s confidence, and PSU kids manage to turn off anything that communicates in English this week.

Neb's
QB has stated that NW was “…stealing signals…” – and that’s why they lost -
So they’re mixing-up their signals this weekend for the PSU game; so I guess Wisky was stealing signals too when they played them…

And yet

I could light up that secondary
Just because he threw for 300+ yards does not mean he isn’t a terrible QB. We stop the run, we beat Nebraska. End. of. story.

Let's Start A Real Arguement
CJAPSU commented on another post that Rob Bolden is the real winner this week.
Nobody has slammed into his rear end in three days!
What are we thinking about?

F*cking close games
3 games. A combined 1 point at the end of regulation. 2 of which were on the road. That’s the difference between PSU being #13 (as they are, currently) in the Colley Matrix and #7.
Bama 6 LSU 6
Iowa 24 Iowa State 24
Iowa 21 Minnesota 22

Michigan State up 4 spots?
After a close home win over Minnesota? This is still a team with 2 not-close-at-all losses to Notre Dame and Nebraska
