Alright everyone.  Yeah, it's bad.  Yeah, it sucks.  But here's what I know.  1.  None of the current players for PSU were involved and I'm more or less certain that none of them were even students at PSU when the crimes were committed.  2.  None of the current coaches are under charges...at a minimum they apparently did what they were required to do.  3.  This is going to be a long, drawn out affair, so let's not gorge on it. (A seven course dinner so to speak versus an all you can eat buffet).

MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is a PSU football team that is the leader in the Leader's division and are playing a pretty damn important football game this Saturday and since they've been entertaining us for about 8 months or so with fodder for discussion, moments of dismay (Mauti ACL, etc.) and times of exhilaration (a fantastic 2-minute drill), THEY deserve the unwavering support of the fans.  No matter what anyone thinks about what should or should not have been done a decade ago (give or take), the current players should not be penalized by it.  Please support the outstanding student athletes of PSU regardless of how you feel about any of the coaches or the situation or anything else.  Please don't boo at the game (man I'm afraid to hear it)...cheer loudly for the student athletes.  Please don't boycott the game, the kids don't deserve it.  I know there are those who will disagree, and that's fine...but I can't imagine anyone thinking that the current players should somehow be sullied by the transgressions of others.
