NPR's Diane Rehm show takes on this case
After listening to it, I am not sure how I feel about this segment (she devoted her entire show today to it), but that's better than dismissing it outright. I must be honest and say that the email she read on air was mine--with part omitted, of course. I can say I was very disappointed that none of the guests touched on the subject I brought up--that if Curley and Schultz had done their jobs, we wouldn't even be discussing Paterno's moral obligations. Instead, they focused on the "loyalty" that comes out for "institutions" in times like these. That was a bit frustrating. Overall, I do enjoy Diane Rehm, and she typically does a fair and balanced job on topics she handles. Worth a listen.
