I wrote deadspin that for everyone jumping on Joe and to a lesser extent the GA for not doing more to report the incident to the authorities what if they actually did less?   The gist of my email is what if the GA decided not to report the issue to Joe, or if he still went ahead and Joe decided to not push it up to superiors or even worse told the GA to in effect forget about it?  Before I go on, I feel the alleged crimes should of been investigated by the proper authorities back when they were first reported and feel if they happened it is a horrible crime and I hope justice does prevail

But back to my original point, how many times have you read about somewhere be it a college, a charity, a corporation, government  office that has a scandal of some type and at every turn the people who could of reported/stopped it turn a blind eye to it completely or even try to cover it up?  Joe possibly had that chance to not do anything or even attempt a cover up, but instead from what we have read that he reported it directly to his superior and asked that it be looked into. 

I do feel more should of been done by everyone involved that heard of the alleged incident but what if less had been done by some of those involved which could cause a greater tragedy.
