He's not retired yet. Let's beat Nebraska

JoePa has announced his retirement after this season, but as of this very moment, he has not retired yet.  There's no point in continuing the endless moral argument because we don't have all the facts. Let the situation run its course.

In the meantime, did anyone forget there was a game this weekend?  We've got 4-5 games to play and this team has one loss and is sure to be fired up.  Everyone is saying that it's too bad that this is how JoePa has to go out, but I say why not send him out after a Big Ten title? and maybe even a NCG?  Wouldn't it be fitting to start the road back to the big game against Nebraska, the hated foes of '94?

I know that's a stretch, but JoePa has taught me so much throughout my life.  That values should never be compromised.  That I should put the team above myself.  He's taught me valuable lessons about doing things right with honor and integrity, and that confidence is the key to all locks.  He complimented me at my work in THON, and he told me that the reason we say "We are.. Penn State" is the love and determination shown by Penn State at the BJC that day.  All of these lessons do not die because of this incident, they will live with me for the rest of my life.

Because of that, I think he deserves better..let's beat Nebraska on Saturday.
