Real Football and whatnot: Derrick Thomas (supposedly) off the team, De"ontae Pannell (Supposedly), and your breakout player for the bowl game

Yeah, the title says it all. Grades are supposedly the issue, and Mike Farrell will probably take over for Pannell. People also saying it could be Barham, but most signs point to it being Pannell.

I've never liked Pannell as a player. Never thought he was good, athletic guy, but never really did much. I'd be interested to see how Farrell could perform. He was really good vs IU in 10', given, that's not saying too much, but he'll be one I'm watching. He's also my breakout bowl player pick.

So, who do you think will break out? If anyone.

He started making some plays late in the season. With Houston having to throw the kitchen sink, banana peel, stop sign, and turnstile at Still, I am cautiously optimistic Crawford will make his presence felt. He’ll have lots of opportunities.

Farrell doesnt make sense here...

Urschel should take over for Pannell if thats the case.

I thought John Urschel should have been starting over Pannell for some time. Pannell always seemed to make too many mental errors during blocking schemes for my taste.

I thought Farrell was listed as the permanent 1st guy in for every position, but yeah, wouldn’t be surprising to see Farrell either
