I don't mean this to sound pessimistic -- am looking for current information. It looks as if McGloin is day-to-day, and Drake is not traveling with the team. That leaves Bolden, MacGregor, Belton, and the kid who sits in seat 12E in section SC of Beaver Stadium. Are there ANY indications Bolden has found any confidence? I would expect him to be first choice (GULP!) if McGloin can't go. On a slight tangent, I think I read that Jones missed the academic standard by .02 points; was that against the NCAA standard, or Penn State's? I am desperately hoping the next HC does NOT dilute Penn State's academic standards, but am also desperately wishing for some QB stability. Assuming Skyler hangs in there with his commit to us, he must not be used the way Bolden was. I realize every kid is different, but Bolden's performances prove again the wisdom of the former HC (what was his name again?) who disliked playing freshmen.
