Since last week, I have allowed myself to get into the holiday spirit. In spite of the headlines, bylines and even some sideline gossip, I've decided to stick with my plan and cook my way through the muck and mire.

By God, it makes life so much easier to have a passion (job) that takes the sting away from the hornets nest of unending unraveling stuff right here in "you know where, PA" , the place no one wants to be anymore... except for me... one woman in her kitchen, with a TV and few G&T's!!!

I say, LET THEM EAT QUICHE(s)!!! Shiitake mushroom:
