Michigan has everyone - including me - thinking they're going to beat Duke.

Too bad that’s not going to happen. It never happens when it really should.

I hope Bubba Jenkins’s machine guns jam and explode next time.

Pitt's loss yesterday

was hilarious. It was wild. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a shooting foul occur from underneath the other team’s basket, much less being the most important play of the game.

It wasn't a shooting foul

Otherwise it would have been 3 shots.

That said, it was completely fantastic. Watching the tide of public opinion shift against the Big East is so entertaining.

Haha

If found this awesome comment on the Bob Smizik blog.

This also demonstrates another reason Pitt made a mistake in firing Wanny. He would have been a tremendous resource for Dixon in how to deal with colossal failure and unreached expectations. Wanny had that down perfectly.

Twice...

By letting it go through his hands and then almost goal tending (though they did show it would only have been a two pointer).

Also, the Wash. guy made a “bonehead” move by putting it up from 1/2 court with 2 seconds or so left.

With time running down, the mind just doesn’t work right.

People will always forget what you do, and they will always forget what you say, but they will never, ever forget the way you make them feel.

I must say..

It was one of the better games on that evening. I always forget how much I love March until it rolls around again. It is kinda like a mini football season when it comes to levels of excitement.

Damn,

I hate UNC. Washington just gifted them a game.

how can someone hate UNC? does not compute…

The Big Ten is criminally unlucky thus far

3 losses by a combined 6 points. One due to a ridiculous looking last second shot going in, one due to a great last second shot missing (Darius Morris against Duke).

I've got the brains. You've got the looks. Let's make lots of money.

Ya..

And it seems like a lot of the calls are going against the big ten..
example: Ill vs Kan. Kan guy is out of bounds and throws the ball off the Ill guy and they call it Kan ball.. funny and yet sad..

Big East teams in the Sweet 16: 2

Teams from Richmond Virginia in the Sweet 16: 2

Ouch. Maybe they shoulda got 13 teams in the tourney. What makes it worse is that the two that made it through did so by beating other Big East teams.

WE'RE DANCIN!!!

Pitt lost on the dumbest foul of the decade

Notre Dame humiliated at home.

This is a successful tourney.
