So this isn't Penn State related, but still an interesting sports read none the less. A little back story succubus and NC State AD Debbie Yow named her new basketball coach yesterday. And during the press conference basically told the world her new coach was a last resort because Gary Williams sabotaged her coaching search. Welcome to NC State Mark Gottfried!! Williams and Yow had a terrible relationship at Maryland, as did Ralph Friedgen, and from what I understand the wrestling staff. You may be noticing a trend here. Williams had nothing to say about the situation. And that brings us to internet tough guy Gregg Doyel who unleased quite the rant from the comfort of a radio studio. You can read the story but essentially Doyel seems to think Williams is afraid of him because "he’s a little bitty tiny coward runt of a man", all because Willams won't return his call about a non story. So much for remaining objective and journalistic integrity.
