As mentioned posted by jtohep Cael Sanderson will return to the mat this weekend in the World Team Trials. However the intermat article seem to have some incorrect information, as Cael will not be doing this "just for fun". Cael has informed Sports Illustrated this is the first step towards an Olympic run in 2012.

The article can be found here. I think personally this is not only an amazing comeback but it should be great for the program. 

I also don't really for see this interrupting his coaching duties at all. He may have less time for camps and recruiting but that can be left in the hands of his very capable staff. Luckily most of the freestyle season will not conflict with the College season. 

This also should be a huge recruiting boost for the school to have a current olympian as the head coach. First things first he needs to win the team trials this weekend. jtothep will be keeping everyone posted over the weekend with how he is doing, and I'll return monday to recap everything.
