I am reposting this because Lift for Life is only a week away.

Traditionally (at least the last two years), we at BSD have "adopted" an incoming freshman and those of us who have chosen to have contributed to that player. Last year we chose Evan Hailes whose video commitment was very moving, especially when he and Coach Johnson "hugged like grown men do."  We doubled Evan’s goal of $500 by contributing a total of $1,005. The year before, SOA – the man with the killer look, was our chosen beneficiary.

Stephon Green seems to be an early popular choice based on the previous thread, but he has already raised $100 and we generally choose someone that doesn't have any donations. I think we all like Sam Ficken, Christian Kuntz and Tariq Tongue for their names and they still need sponsors.

So who is it going to be this year?
