Penn State Director of Wrestling Operations Matt Dernlan has accepted the head coaching job at Clarion. It's an awesome opportunity for Matt and should be a great hire for Clarion. This is also a big loss for Penn State. Dernlan was a great and tireless recruiter and has also done a great job with the lightweights dating back to the Sunderland years. His recent role of head coach of the NLWC has seen the freestyle program really explode. Penn State certainly will have big shoes to fill.
