Ben wrote a fantastic piece that was posted this morning and is still being discussed. The article raised several great points that led to a healthy debate. I had fun throwing in some comments here and it really made got me thinking.
I won't go into detail on my lengthy opinion on the Paterno/state of the program debate, but it led to one main thought: There is a finite number of games left where I will watch Paterno roam the sidelines at Beaver Stadium. There are only so many more times JoePa will make me laugh with some self-deprecating comment during a post-game interview, make me reflect about my own life during a press conference, make me stand up and cheer during a pep rally. For these reasons, I am really, really excited for my first game of the year at Beaver Stadium and just for the season the start.
The other debate was fun, but I want to talk about the 2011 Penn State Nittany Lions. Anyone with me?
