Green Gone

Apparently Stephfon Green is gone from the team and is no longer listed on the roster. If this is true, i think this is a big loss from the team due to all the energy and leadership he brings to the game (as we discussed in the past). Not sure of all the details, but hopefully he will be back soon to Penn State.

According to my sources....

Stephon “stepped down” and failed some repeated internal drug tests not being able to stop smoking weed during the season…..what kills me, if indeed this is entirely true, is that for years, the PS FB program under Joe held their own, unannounced random drug tests. In years gone by, drug tests were announced and the school had the ability to control the results. I am personally aware of this happening on the Maryland FB team wherein a “clean” player would supply the urine test for the star running back the last couple of years. As much as I liked Stephon, it appears to be another case of STOOOOPID. What a waste, indeed.
