Twitter Follow Button
For some reason this has generated a lot of gnashing of teeth the last few days, so I went straight to the source to get the correct information.
Go to this link and fill out your information. Copy the text from the box under the preview of the button. Paste into notepad and replace {screen_name} with your twitter user name.
Edit your SBN profile and paste from notepad into your signature field. Don't forget to save.

UPDATE: As noted below, if you're trying this and it doesn't appear to work, make sure you refresh the page (F5 key) so that the button will be generated.

You have to replace something first Paige!
{screen_name} shows up in the box, put your Paige2PSU there.

Just copy the whole shebang, I already made the change I suggested above.
Also keep in mind
Even when it works right, you’ll have to refresh the page to get anything other than just “Follow @Paige2psu” to show up in your signature.
This is because of the javascript.
I still had () around the first Paige2psu.

It’s only when you’ve done a preview on a page that your button won’t show up.
The link will still be there, but the javascript required to draw the button and update your follower count appears to only be run when a page containing the javascript reference is first loaded/refreshed.
My button always disappears after a while
and its just the text, even when I go back to the thread later on. Not sure if its cause my browser does something to it or what. Damn work computers only letting me use IE.
