Stephfon Green returns?
I'm posting this on the fanposts, because let's face it, no one reads the fanshots. But I just saw this on twitter and I think I have the jump on you all! LOL! I don't know how to do the formatting, but Derek Moye posted this:
@sgreezy21 is Stephfon Green.
So insiders, let us know the scoop!
Aww, look at you. You created a Fanpost! Any content from a premium site that requires a subscription will be deleted once we catch wind of it. If you simply want to share a link, quote, or video, please consider using Fanshots instead. Thanks.

Congrats Paige!
You do realize that after this scoop the pressure is on you to come through again.

woohoo!
He’s gonna spend this season in Joe’s doghouse, but I’m glad he’s got his head on straight again :-)

From what I can tell (and without divulging too much premium content):
Green is back, but has a long way to go to be in good standing. This is still Silas Redd’s team, but having a guy like Green take some of the carries is a good thing.
His departure appears to have been based on a couple of things, one I will mention (playing time/depth chart) and another I won’t (but that you can probably figure out if you dig enough). Green was clearly passed over by Redd as the feature back, and as a fifth-year senior may have seen the writing on the wall. Frustration got the better of him, and he threw a mini-tantrum. That seems to have subsided, and he’s back, apparently at the strong urging of his teammates. We’ll see what happens from here, but don’t expect him to be back to “everything is hunky-dorey” status anytime soon.

Still good news, but
Green and Fera didn’t participate in practices until now(?) and won’t play until (?)
Its necessary, but JoePA will sit them as a deterent so the rest of the team realizes the consequences that await them if they stray.
Fera
will punt against Bama as field position may be important in that game. I could punt against Indiana State and unless Larry Bird came back and blocked every one of them PSU would still win easily.

Very happy
that Green is back in the fold. I feel a lot better about backfield depth now. I fully expected Redd and Beachum to see the majority of the snaps at TB regardless, but adding Green back into the mix (even it’s not until conference play is in full swing) can only help.
Moreover, I am genuinely pleased that he will get a chance to run out of the tunnel on Senior Day. I’ve always liked him and really appreciated the positive energy he showed last year, even when he wasn’t getting the playing time he wanted. I hope this means he’s out of the wilderness.
Let's just hope that.....
Stephon and all of the Boyz keep their heads on straight for a hopefully wonderful season.

Penn State coaches weed out
the bad players.
I'd like to have two Armies -- one for display, with lovely guns, tanks, little Soldiers, staffs, distinguished and doddering Generals and dear little regimental officers, who would be deeply concerned over their General's bowel movements or their Colonel's piles; an Army that would be shown for a modest fee on every fairground in the country.
The other would be the REAL ONE, composed entirely of young enthusiasts in camouflage uniforms, who would not be put on display but from whom impossible efforts would be demanded and to whom all sorts of tricks would be taught. That's the Army in which I should like to fight.
