PSU was overmatched against Alabama, but the B1G does not look that scary at this point in the season. There is no other team of the Tide's caliber on our remaining schedule, and some of the 'Contenders' really laid an egg this weekend.

At the beginning of the season, the concensus was that Bama was a loss, and Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin, were games that would produce, at best, two wins.

What does this situation look like now?

OSU squeaks by Toledo.   Nebraska does the same with Fresno State.  Iowa loses to Iowa State

It is not a stretch, at this point, to think that PSU may possibly be favored in home games vs Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois, and also may be a favorite on the road vs OSU.

The Buckeyes obviously depended upon #2 (no pun intended) a lot more that we realized, to pull them out of the fire, and he ain't there no more.

Now, Wisconsin looks like the only other team that may be definitely be favored in the PSU game.

All others are, at this point, looking to me like eminently winnable matches.

Is 10-2 or 11-1 a thinkable outcome at this point?
