Lee makes his case for a great defense.
Sean Lee made his first career start Sunday against the Jets. It won't be his last start.
Dallas had been expected to play its inside linebackers equally this season, with Lee splitting time with Bradie James and Keith Brooking. But Lee has made it difficult to get him off the field.
He had a team-leading 11 tackles and returned an interception 37 yards late in the third quarter to set up a 1-yard touchdown.
Lee was the star of the game, just as he was in a Dec. 5 game against the Colts when he intercepted Peyton Manning twice, returning one for a 31-yard touchdown and setting up the game-winning field goal in overtime.
Lee was all over the field against the Jets, and the Cowboys, with a depleted unit, needed everything he gave them.
