Black Shoe Diaries Podcast: Letting Go Is Never Easy
Sometimes, it's just impossible to come to grips with a loss. So here's one final mutual counseling session between Kevin and myself, which dives so far into the Penn State playcalling structure that we reach a point where it may not actually exist as it's been described to us. We also talk about what we liked out of the Alabama game, praise Matt McGloin effusively, and try to figure out how the parents of Rob Bolden and Matt McGloin ended up sitting next to each other at Beaver Stadium. Oh, right, and we talk Temple.

You should have invited me on and asked my opinion of the game. Then I could have sung Silver Wings and we could all move on in peace.
I have nothing sarcastic or humorous whatsoever to say about the Temple Owls.
Beat Temple.

The number of offensive coordinators is simple.
We have 1 and/or 2 offensive coordinators, although technically we have zero.
Bloggin' at JoePasDoghouse.com
Sounds like the offensive line coaching situation.

I'm curious...
has any of the readership EVER heard of the term rhabdomialysis (sp?) before the Iowa thing?
I’ve been through extreme high intensity workouts, know hundreds of other athletes who have as well at different institutions, and conducted in different formats, and have NEVER heard of this phenomenon.
To have 13 or however many athletes affected with this will forever seem fishy to me. It may not be illegal, but I would be shocked if somesort of supplement wasn’t behind this.
"my dad says Michigan used to be good"
the high school my mom teaches at
had a rhabdo crisis this year too. So, while I hadn’t heard of it before Iowa, if Iowa hadn’t happened I sure would’ve known about it this year.

weird
I wonder is any sort of supplements or substances were floating around that high school locker room
"my dad says Michigan used to be good"
I honestly have no clue
it is a school that is traditionally very bad at football, in a district that typically competes for the Maryland state championships every year. But it is a very rich area public school, so those kids could definitely afford some enhancements.

Never really consider this point made by Chris until now...
Now Joe, Jay, Galan, and Dick Anderson are all in the press box…we basically have no O coaches on the sides lines outside of Big Red.
Hire Mike Pettine Jr!!!!!!!!
I'd put Jay down there just to watch people lose their minds.

People who argue with Ron Vanderlinden should be fired out of a cannon
He likes it
He spent 1993-1997 getting yelled at by Paterno. Then he became a grad assistant around 2001, then coach. He knew what he was getting into.
Washingtonian and Penn Stater -- My blog features the triumph of hope over experience that is being a DC sports fan (especially the Nats) as well as the Nittany Lions, life in BeltwayLand and other things I find interesting. @doubleuefwhy
If it's now number one, what did it replace?

Is there video or pictures
of the Bolden’s and the McGloin’s sitting together?
I like sports and I don't care who knows.
