SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
This is that awkward moment early in the year, when taking in the resumes of teams, you find yourself knocking teams out of the BlogPoll that probably should be ranked and bringing teams in that would best not be ranked. Unfortunately, that's the predicament of college football during the ®Lol Up the Score portion of the schedule where any loss carries a disproportionately heavier weight than those victories over cupcakes and makes it difficult to assess a team's true strength.
This weekend seems to have set Oklahoma on their course to their nigh annual embarrassing BCS bowl loss and the Big East probably died too. Take a look at the BlogPoll below the fold, as always questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are welcome.
I'm going to be honest, this week is uglier than usual. Gone are Michigan State, Ohio State, Auburn and Mississippi State after their losses and no real wins of note worth keeping them in play at this point. Clemson, USC, Texas and the Fightin' Zookers all hesitantly make their entrance, however I'm not particularly excited with any of them or nearly anything outside perhaps the Top 7.
Texas may have happened onto something with a legacy QB-WR combination that you're most likely already sick of hearing about after two weeks. This week offers plenty of chances for clarity with Missouri at Oklahoma, LSU at West Virginia, Arkansas at Alabama, Oklahoma State at Texas A&M, Florida State at Clemson, South Carolina at Vanderbilt and USC at Arizona State all on the ledger of a busy Saturday.
