I know everyone is sick of hearing about B12 & A+M drama, but I have a question that I haven't heard anybody ask yet. Why is it that Baylor and the other 7 B12 schools have given A&M an "out" by saying, "unless OU commits to staying"? why not either 1) threaten legal action no matter what, or 2) just let A+M go and hold OU hostage if/when they try to go to the PAC? OU is the key to holding the conference together, anyways, so it seems.
The only thing I can think of is that the other B12 schools are trying to send A+M the message that they are insignificant and unwanted, which I can't see how that is good for the conference's perception. The unfolding events of this story are laughable and pathetic.
