He did not cancel his trip to OSU.
He was told by OSU when he called to confirm that they try to limit their officials to 5 recruits so they can pay enough attention to each recruit, and that the first 5 already confirmed. Very shortly after he got off the phone, BOB called to introduce himself. He mentioned that OSU asked him to come a different weekend and BOB told him to take an official to PSU this weekend.

I dont know if this is good or bad.
He’s not going to meet BOB.
OSU tells him, “Nah, we’re filled up. You cant come.” You would hope he takes that as a slight.
Then Cox wants to reschedule to accomodate OSU’s schedule and he uses his official on a weekend where BOB wont be there.
Its kinda Eh.

Is that a definite that BOB will come back on Sunday?
Because I was under the impression thats iffy.
If he’s going to be there on Sunday to talk to him thats great.
I thought that was the reason why Williams and Reeves werent taking their visit this weekend was because BOB was not going to be there.

and are going somewhere else (maybe Michigan?) because BOB would only be there Sunday and they wanted to spend more time getting to know him.

I was just under the impression that they were gonna reschedule because BOB wasnt gonna be there. Which now BOB is gonna be there on Sunday.
Reeves is going to Michigan this weekend if I remember correctly.
Williams going to the Pats game sounds like a huge yay.

no way in hell I am paying espn for that service.
I found this after my post as well. (A surprise visitor this weekend?)
Regardless of how Ohio State spins it, they essentially put Cox on the "Plan B" list last night and Penn State was there, waiting with open arms.
This coincidence could pay dividends when Cox spends his weekend surrounded by players committed to Penn State. A commitment is not out of the question.
