LOL Game Open Thread: Penn State v. Houston

Hope you had a great (and safe, you guys still alive?) New Year celebration. The final open threads of the football season have arrived, which is terrible or great news depending on your perspective. The standard Rules Of Threading apply -- no links to illegal streams, porn, racism, sexism...you know, I think we collectively have the hang of this by now.

Subsequent threads in 45 minute intervals, or until the internet breaks under the weight of Rob Bolden's glory.

Good pressure on Keenum,

but can’t let him out of the pocket like that big play.

Let’s get a win for Scrap today. Also, I’m very curious how Bolden responds today. It might not be as bad as we think.

DBs gotta jam the receivers at the line.

Disrupt their timing while the D-line works over the O-linemen and Keenum.

I’m not sure if it is against list policy to post links for viewing games on-line, but, since I now live in England, it’s the only way I can watch games.

Does anyone have any links where I can watch the game? Thank you in advance. :)

And then we go and do something like that

As an 8 year old boy meeting JoePa:
Me: Coach, I really am a big fan of Penn State
Joe: Glad to hear that
Me: I am also a big Notre Dame fan as well
Joe: Son, you can only be a fan of one or the other, not both. Make sure that you pick a winner.

I don’t blame them, they are basically kids and have been through trauma. But they aren’t.

Seriously, you might as well start going deep on first down, force the D to play back a bit and stop putting 9 guys in the box. If they don’t maybe the receiver will be open enough for Bolden to get cose to him.

If I was on defense

I don’t know how much effort I could muster either right now. I feel bad for them. The fact that Bradley has let Bolden ruin any chance the team has of winning is actually making me rethink my support of him for head coach.

MacGregor

can not be worse. Running Bleton out of the wildcat would not be worse. Using leftover sauekraut would not be a worse option right now.

Agreed

McGloin’s hurt, Jones is dumber than Morelli… only other real option is to go wildcat all day, which might work for about 4 plays

by kflintosh on Jan 2, 2012 12:44 PM EST up reply actions

I would not pin this on Bradley. McGloin deserves some of the blame for being hot headed.
