That’s one part of the country I haven’t been to yet – I hope to see it soon. :)
Warwick and S-o-T are both in the Midlands, just different extremes – Warwick is further south.

We were there in 2000.
Volvo Trucks sent me there. Family and I did London in two days; they traveled around Warwick while I went to meetings for 2.5 days. Then back here to North Carolina. Would really enjoy a month in the UK . . .

I have to say I really enjoy living here. :) London, of course, is wonderful, but I don’t get down there very often. Yes, to see what there is to see here, you need a while…
I actually went to Wake Forest for my freshman year – are you anywhere near Winston-Salem?

About 18 miles due south of Greensboro.

I remember Greensboro – saw a few concerts there during my year in NC.

Bingo.
Need an offense that can stay on the field.

Slightly disagree.
Shouldn’t have great stops on 1 and 2 down, then give up a long 3rd for big yardage/score.

Need better play from both lines.
Plus the DBs need to check the WRs at the line, to disrupt their timing.
This game can be won, but the defense needs to get to Keenum EVERY play. The offense looks rusty — hopefully operates better in the second half.

Meh.
It seems we come close to a huge breakout, then the offense draws back — almost like they are afraid of success.

So I've gotta be at work in 3.5 hours.
I got up early to watch the game, but AFN isn’t showing it. That’s fine I think, I’ll just get on the internet. Well, I couldn’t connect because the internet here blows. When I finally do connect, it’s the 2nd quarter and we’re losing 17-0 and we have a grand total of 22 yards.
The good news is that we get the ball at the beginning of the 2nd half and the defense usually plays better in the 2nd half.
Kinda happy that AFN isn't showing this, and it is a replay at 0830 tomorrow here in Germany

Bolden....... facepalm
Some guy at Penn State Hershey just discovered a virus that eats cancer. Where were the CNN trucks for that? Now Someone at PSU found something that could cure Leukemia. Coverage? None. THON will probably break $10 mil this year. Put that on "Outside the Lines" you sanctimonious pricks!
How do we not have the #1 qb recruit locked up right now?

That wasn't Bolden's fault.
That is what happens when they have absolutely no respect for our passing game.

Finally.
I’ve been waiting for him for two years.

Still a lot of time and Houston has no ability to work the clock.

Finally
targeted someone other than the smallest guy on the field! Great job!
Rob Bolden is 3/14 for 140 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT

to be fair, there have been some bad drops.
He hasn’t exactly been good, but he should be closer to 50% completion%
Let's Hope Justin Brown comes back next year.

This just means Keenum will get to throw more
I predict 650 yards
WHY can't we tackle better?

Well, the linebackers first step is backwards, instead of forwards like it usualy is
creates a different feel, we’re playing the pass
also, the Cougs do have good RB’s

As someone just noted, Houston has great team speed.
SSSSSSEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCC speed. We are back on our heels every play.

Momentum is a huge thing.
Houstons guys are running downfield and not juking much. That means unless we are tackling dead on, we aren’t likely to stand them up. Factor in that most of their short throws are slants that help deflect the angle of attack and it becomes hard to stop someone in their tracks.

Our guys are usually quicker in making "square-up" adjustments
which helps them center up and tackle more cleanly. Not seeing that today.

They just snap the ball so fast.
How do you even get set on D? This team is far better than I gave them credit for.

This is gut wrenching...!
Truly high- octane offense. We in the big ten are so used to 3 yards and a cloud of dust, 2 commercial breaks and a few snapshots of the fat cheer leaders for 3 minutes after a TD.
Are we purposely not kicking the ball deep on kickoffs?
Just giving them great field position to start everytime
Drake was Fera's hook-up for Cruzan.
No Drake = no Cruzan. No Cruzan = no deep kicks.

Houston's players piss and whine after avery play.
Unless it’s a good play, than it’s jazz hands.

Don't Blame Bolden
This offense has been, as it always has been when it is bad, predictable, and terrible
Blame the coaches.
Blame the church.
Bolden is the best chance PSU has? ……Really?

Bolden is behind the short throws
and late/short on the long throws. This is brutal.
